“To live is Christ, to die is gain”- Paul, an apostle of Christ
Our world is mourning, it cries out in agony, as we continue to live as a part of a broken society. Sin is all around us it is consuming the very foundations of our world. But we have hope, a hope that is overflowing and wonderful, a hope that is graceful and unchanging, we have the hope of Jesus Christ. The war is already won, who are we to moan about God's "abandonment" such a thing does not even exist. God does not abandon us; we abandon Him. There is victory, a victory that evil cannot overcome, it is the victory of Christ. It is the Victory over death. Sin has no hold on whom the son sets free; Death need not be feared for we are united as one church the eternal bride of Christ. Our entire life should be Christ, and our death is gain for we get to see the lover of our soul in a way that we cannot even comprehend while we are on Earth. Yes, we have victory in Christ, should that not be enough to shout His name from the mountain tops, should that not be enough to proclaim His name throughout all of creation. The victory of Christ should be proclaimed in the places where persecution is the strongest for we are called not to the righteous but to aid those who are seeking after God.
