I commonly come across a couple questions when talking to new believers: How do I start reading my bible? Whats the best study guide? How do I become closer to God?
These questions are extremely important and the answers are often times the foundation for a believers understanding of Christ and what it means to have a relationship with Him.
To begin answering the first two questions lets return to the basics, understanding the nature of Gods love is one of the corner stones for our faith. For beginners and those looking to revitalize their faith the book of Romans and the Gospel of Luke are two of my favorites when it comes to the nature of God so I would start there. For those struggling to read their bible consistently, the book of Proverbs provides a basic and easy to do schedule: one chapter a day.
